21 October: We were in need of peace and quiet and this has been a very restorative visit. The inhabitants of Chickenopolis provided welcome light relief and the garden walks are beautiful. Lovely, unobtrusive staff and excellent food, beautifully presented. Such an interesting house to be in. Thank you.

23 October: What a splendid place! Our first visit to Arran and we found just the right place to stay first time. Lovely house, super rooms, a piano to play – and such thoughtful and friendly hospitality – not to mention perfect food!
